Graduation Day is finally here! Whitehall-Yearling High School will hold their commencement exercises on Saturday, May 28th, at 10:30 AM at WYHS Stadium (Mike Ferguson Field).

Tickets will be available beginning May 18th and students will need to enter their student ID number to gain access to claim their allotted tickets.PARKING:
We will use all the parking spaces available at Whitehall-Yearling High School. In addition, parking is available at Whitehall Church of the Nazarene (739 S. Yearling Rd.), New Life Church (441 S. Yearling Rd.), and the small gravel lot across from the high school next to the Restore Whitehall building (670 S. Yearling Rd.) Carpooling is highly encouraged!
We will also be running shuttles from Rosemore and Beechwood as well as New Life Church beginning at 9:30 AM and running approximately every 15 minutes until the ceremony begins at 10:30 AM. Shuttle riders will be dropped off at the front of WYHS and you will walk back to the stadium. After the ceremony has concluded, shuttles will run for an additional hour for people to return to their cars. We encourage people to utilize our shuttles as this will reduce traffic and congestion around the high school.
SEATING: Gates will open at 9:45 AM and all attendees are encouraged to arrive early. All attendees will be seated in the home stands in the football stadium as the stage will be facing the home stands. The visiting side will be closed. Only authorized personnel will be permitted on the track or turf field before, during, and after the ceremony.

MISCELLANEOUS STADIUM INFO:
- This is an outdoor event. Please dress appropriately to prepare for high temperatures and possibly precipitation.
- Water and Gatorade will be available for sale in our concession stand (all proceeds go to our band boosters).
- Prohibited items include any noise makers and umbrellas. All bags are subject to search.
In the event of a rainout to the point where we cannot hold the ceremony outdoors, we will transition to a “drive through” ceremony very similar to our 2020 commencement during the pandemic.
If it is determined that the outdoor ceremony is no longer viable, communications will be immediately sent to families via auto-dialer, email, and Google Classroom announcement informing them of the transition.
In the days prior to graduation, communications will be sent to families in advance providing a specific time for them to arrive at the auditorium in the event of a rainout. We will ask that graduates and guests limit themselves to two cars so as not to overwhelm staff and parking.
Students and their guests will be escorted into the auditorium at their allotted time. The student will cross the stage as their name is announced and they will receive their diploma. As the graduate and their guests exit the auditorium, a photographer will be stationed to take the graduate’s photo with their diploma.
