i-Ready Curriculum
Whitehall City Schools is pleased to partner with Curriculum Associates to provide our students in Kindergarten through 8th grade with a wonderful online program called i-Ready. Built for the new standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics, i-Ready answers "What are my student's strengths and needs?" AND "What's next?" It is an adaptive diagnostic that pinpoints student needs down to the sub-skill level, and ongoing progress monitoring shows whether students are on track to achieve end-of-year targets. Also, i-Ready provides personalized student instruction targeted to students’ unique areas of need to boost achievement.
Independent research studies have shown that students who used i-Ready for more than 45 minutes per week grew 44% more in Reading and 65% more in Math than the average students. Recently, you received a letter explaining the program along with instructions on how you can help your child at home to extend their learning in school. We encourage you to try out i-Ready at home, in the library, or wherever you have internet access. Evenings, weekends, long holidays, and snow days are all great times for your child to have fun learning with i-Ready! Just go to
login.i-ready.com
and enter the unique username and password for your child that was attached to the letter. If you did not receive a letter or have any questions, please contact your child's school.
