A lifelong resident of Franklin County, Lorena has worked for the Ohio House of Representatives, former Ohio Governor Bob Taft’s administration, and Franklin County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael J. Holbrook. Mostly recently, Lorena has worked at the Whitehall City Attorney’s Office as the Victim Services Coordinator. She currently serves as the first Black female Clerk of the Whitehall Mayor’s Court.

Lorena is a 2005 Graduate of the Jo Ann Davidson Leadership Institute, and a former Chair of the Candidate Screening Committee for the Ohio Coalition of Concerned Black Citizens. In her free time, Lorena enjoys reading, swimming, cooking, spending time with family, and is a Ministry Partner at New Life Church Whitehall Campus.  Lorena has one adult son, three adult stepdaughters and eleven grandchildren.
