Mrs. Duffy
Education:
  • Graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 2006
  • Graduated from Muskingum University in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a teaching license for AYA Life Science 7-12.
  • I taught Biology and Anatomy/Physiology for six years at Central Crossing High School in Grove City, Ohio. 
  • I graduated from the counseling program at the University of Dayton in May 2011 with a Master’s degree in School Counseling. With this degree, I am qualified to counsel ​K-12 students in an individual or group setting. 
Personal:
  • I am married to my husband Jake and we love to travel, be active and play with our puppy (Lilly)
  • My husband and I both went to Muskingum University and had mutual friends, but we never even met until after we were out of college! 
  • I am definitely a college sports girl (not a huge pro sports fan), and you guessed it...Ohio State football and basketball are my favorite!
  • Any kind of chocolate and donuts are the way to my heart 
  • Growing up I wanted to be a nurse

Education:
  • Graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 2007
  • Graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2011 with a Bachelor's of Art in Education and a teaching license for Middle Childhood Education (4-9) Science, Social Studies, and Reading
  • I taught middle school for 4 years in Columbus City Schools before becoming a freshmen counselor at Lakewood High School for two years.
  • I graduated from the counseling program at the University of Dayton in December 2013 with a Master’s degree in School Counseling. With this degree, I am qualified to counsel ​K-12 students in an individual or group setting. 
Personal:
  • I met my husband Rob in college at MVNU. 
  • We have two toddlers, Jordan and Lia who keep us SUPER BUSY. 
  • We are a basketball family- My father-in-law runs Buckeye Prep Report and my husband and brother both played collegiate basketball. 
  • Our family was on Family Feud in 2015- reruns happen all the time. I hate to admit it, but you can even find my most brilliant answers on youtube!
  • I love to travel, and you guessed it, visit COLLEGES! Seriously, they are beautiful and knowing all the books and different people on campus is amazing and inspiring. If you ever need a chaperone to a college visit, I’m your girl.
