If you weren't able to attend the recent Whitehall City Schools State of the District, worry not! The District is developing its next five-year Strategic Plan, set to guide and inform actions and decisions through 2029.

A strategic plan is essentially an organization’s road map, providing a clear outline of goals, guiding actions and decision-making, and establishing metrics to measure progress. Whitehall City Schools’ leadership, in collaboration with a steering committee, various focus groups, and community surveys, is dedicated to designing and writing this crucial plan.
The upcoming Strategic Plan for Whitehall City Schools will encompass goals, multiple objectives, measures, initiatives, and action plans. These components will be determined through a comprehensive Strategic Planning process, ensuring a thorough and inclusive approach.
As the process unfolds, WCS Leadership is expected to adopt the plan in the spring/summer of 2024. Following approval, the superintendent will oversee the implementation of the plan, providing regular updates to the Board and the community on progress towards the plan’s goals. Administrators within the District will be responsible for monitoring progress on specific action steps and initiatives within their respective areas of expertise.
Come Fall 2024, the Strategic Plan for 2024-2029 will take effect, marking the beginning of its implementation and the journey towards achieving the outlined goals.
