There is an optional insurance plan for the district-issued Chromebooks you have received. While these devices are loaned to students, any damages, loss or theft of the device will be the responsibility of the student’s parents/guardians. Whitehall City Schools offers a protection plan of $29 for the year through Worth Avenue Group which would cover many of these instances. Chromebook repairs can range from $30-$150 while a total replacement will cost $300.
