Title IX

Whitehall City Schools is committed to providing an educational environment free from discrimination on the basis of sex. Under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, no person in the United States may be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

Sex discrimination includes treating individuals differently in access to programs, services, benefits, rules, or opportunities; denying aid or participation; applying separate standards; or limiting any person’s rights or privileges on the basis of sex (34 C.F.R. § 106.31(b)).

Whitehall City Schools does not tolerate sex-based discrimination and will address all reports promptly and in accordance with federal law.
