PRC Emergency Assistance
PRC stands for Prevention, Retention and Contingency and it provides short-term benefits and services to low-income families, especially those facing emergency situations. The goal is to help families stabilize and eventually move out of poverty and become self-sufficient.
Applicants can request aid for more than one emergency (such as overdue rent and utility bills) up to a maximum of $2,000.
Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio
LASCO provide direct legal aid to low-income Ohioans. Their clients include seniors, veterans, children, single parents, working families and people with disabilities and at-risk of homelessness.
LASCO helps Ohioans obtain and keep housing, secure public benefits, worked with families to gain and maintain economic stability, and helped domestic violence survivors to live free of fear and abuse and to obtain the resources needed to sustain themselves and their children.
Community Housing Network
CHN develops and manages affordable permanent supportive housing and provide services to people experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance use disorders, and other trauma-related issues.

Impact Community Action HEAP
HEAP helps income-eligible Ohioans that are threatened with disconnection or have been disconnected The winter program runs during both the winter months: November 1-March 31.
The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program provides a one-time benefit to eligible Ohioans with cooling assistance during the summer months. The program runs from July 1 to September 30.
