Kyra Thorpe

Kyra Thorpe was elected to the Whitehall City Schools Board of Education in 2025, and her term began in 2026.

Thorpe currently works as a chiropractic assistant and brings more than a decade of leadership experience in operations and management. She previously served as Director of Operations for Vertex-Life Corporation, where she helped oversee programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in Franklin and Delaware counties. Her professional experience also includes work in financial operations and customer relations.

A lifelong member of the Whitehall community, Thorpe is a 1995 graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School and has lived in Whitehall since childhood. She has remained active in the community through youth sports coaching and previously served as a commissioner for Whitehall Parks and Recreation. She lives in Whitehall with her husband, Donald, and their family, including a child currently attending Whitehall City Schools.
