Dr. Joanne Lunceford

Dr. Joanne Lunceford began her term on the Whitehall City Schools Board of Education in 2026 and brings extensive experience in education and community leadership to her role.

Throughout her career, Dr. Lunceford has worked in a variety of roles focused on improving schools and supporting student achievement. Her experience spans classroom teaching, school leadership, and district-level initiatives designed to strengthen instruction, support educators, and help students succeed academically and personally.

Dr. Lunceford is deeply committed to the success of all students and believes strong schools are built through collaboration among educators, families, and the community. She values the opportunity to help guide the district’s vision and support programs that promote opportunity and growth for every student. She lives in the Whitehall area with her family and remains actively engaged in educational and community initiatives.
