Food Services

Whitehall City Schools has implemented a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Our district started this program at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year.

What does this mean for you?
All students enrolled at Whitehall City Schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2024-25 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) can participate in these meal programs without paying a fee or submitting an application.

All meals served must meet nutrition standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. However, if a doctor has determined a child to be disabled and the disability would prevent the child from eating the regular school meal, your school will make any substitutions prescribed by the doctor at no extra charge. If you believe your child needs substitutions because of a disability or have any other concerns or questions about food service, please call us at (614) 417-5000.
This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
