Joy Bivens was elected to the Whitehall City Schools Board of Education in 2013.
Ms. Bivens has been the owner of a successful home health services business since 2005 and is also a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Joy was a 2015 Business Award recipient from Central Ohio Youth Advocacy Program for outstanding achievement and continuous contributions within the community.
A proud graduate of Capital University, Joy is a prominent leader in the community. In 2012, Ms. Bivens became Committee Chair of One Stop Partners Committee for COWIC and was also elected Vice President of the Whitehall Business Chamber. The next year, Joy was appointed Chair of the Ohio Means Jobs Franklin County Board.
Joy lives in Whitehall with her husband and two children who attend Whitehall City Schools.
