The WYHS Art Club meets at least once a week and plan their activities and events around their interest in the arts.
The art club enters contests throughout the year like the Vans Custom Culture Sneaker Design contest.
WYHS also has an Arts Festival each spring with some of the best work going on display at the Columbus Arts Festival in June. Much of the work submitted will come from art club members, who practice making art on their own time.
Whitehall Yearling High School has an Arts Festival each spring, and this year, some of the best work will go on to the Columbus Arts Festival on the riverfront in June. Much of the work selected was completed by art club members, who practice making art on their own time. This work will also be exhibited at the Ohio Art Education Associations Emerging Artists show in the fall at the State Teachers Retirement Building.
